YouTube Shorts is a new format ideal for short, maximum 60-second videos, which creates a thousand new opportunities for creators on YouTube. For example, new trends can be created, or new content can be tried out without having to commit to it directly in a long video. To draw more attention to this format, YouTube decided to collaborate with Lukas and Puuki in August 2021. The two came up with cool ideas and shot exciting shorts about them. Through this, viewers should also be encouraged to post shorts themselves under the hashtag #ShortsGamingChallenge. Afterwards, they asked their followers to watch these short videos in Instagram stories and thus increased the awareness of YouTube shorts on Instagram as well. Together, they created 5 content items on the two platforms, which attracted 910,000 views.
